In Virginia, the American Dietetic Assn. is pushing a bill that would grant a monopoly on nutrition counseling to Registered Dietitians. This would be devastating for real food and health in Va. For more background on this nutrition licensing bill see: http://va4hf.org/HB345.html
The bill (HB345) will be heard THIS TUESDAY, Jan. 31 at approx. 10am. It is in subcommittee 2
What You Can Do to Save Nutrition in Va:

2. Email them directly if you can.
3. Best: Show Up in Richmond for the Hearing!
It will be heard in Sub-Committee 2 of the Health, Welfare, and Institutions committee, Tues, Jan 31 in the Richmond General Assembly Building. Arrive no later than 10am. The bill could come up early or late in the meeting – we won’t know in advance.
