Little Princess Fallon Pope, born to
Tampa, Florida chapter leader Sarah Pope, has been the picture of
health and strength since birth. Her mother
followed a wise and traditional diet
throughout pregnancy. |
 |

member of the Dan Kremer family, weighed over 9 pounds at birth.
|
 |
Isabelle Hory, born to WAPF parents
Bill and Ana Hory, arrived five weeks early at a healthy 6 pounds
5 ounces. A WAPF diet contributed greatly to a trouble-free pregnancy
and birth. |
 |
Cheerful, alert, intelligent, the daughter
of Becky Mauldin, who during pregnancy ate a nutrient-dense diet
that emphasized raw foods, is a pleasure to be around. |
 |
From proud mom Jenny Stamm: "Just
wanted to let you know how smart my little Weston Price baby is!
I was reading a newsletter from the hospital where I delivered and
they said that 20-month-olds know an average of 15 words. Well,
as predicted, Summer at 20 months knows at least a few hundred words,
if not more. She can recognize almost the entire alphabet and counts
to ten. Thank you again for all your info!" |
 |
And from equally proud mother Jennifer
Anderson: "I can't adequately express my gratitude for the pre-natal
dietary guidelines you published in Wise Traditions, Summer 2005.
I brought this issue with me to my very first meeting with homebirth
midwives, so that I could discuss my nutritional plan, and they
were utterly intrigued. I found myself more energetic during this
second pregnancy, at 36, than my first, at 33, and this despite
running after an active toddler and never napping." Big sister
Pella Lisa holds Sanna Elka, born at over eight pounds even though
she was 2-3 weeks early. Before and during pregnancy, mom's diet
included daily doses of cod liver oil to provide 20,000 IU vitamin
A, raw milk and dairy products from Organic Pastures, high-vitamin
butter oil and coconut oil. |
 |
Over 8 pounds at birth, Nicholas Heinrich
Weissing enjoys a cuddle from his big sister and proud WAPF member,
Johanna. "We started drinking Real Milk in July 2004," reports
Mom. "This is my eighth baby, but my first Real Milk baby. I
am 43 and "everyone" was worried—but he is healthy,
alert, a good nurser, and a good sleeper. We thank God for his safe
arrival—and the WAPF Campaign for Raw Milk for helping us
to get there!" |

Michelle Eschbaugh-Soha's second
baby was born with a cleft palate, due, she believes, to her inability
to find a source of raw milk during the first few months of her
pregnancy when the palate was forming. However, mom located a
source of raw milk for the rest of the pregnancy and also supplemented
her breast milk with raw milk formula after her son was born.
He is a happy, hardy baby who avoided the frequent ear infections
and weight-gain difficulties of typical cleft-palate babies, and
healed from the surgery much faster than normal.

babies, born eighteen months apart. Mom has enough milk for both
thriving, healthy offspring, who have never been sick. |
 |
Over eight pounds at birth, Skyler
David is the second beautiful Weston A. Price baby born to the Stamm
family. "I cannot believe what a good baby he is," says
his mom. "I think it is neat to have two after eating the Weston
Price way because everyone said, 'Oh, just wait till the second
one, you can't have two really good babies!'" A nourishing
traditional diet is the way for all babies to be good babies! |

Nine-month old Paavo Chong recognizes
a nourishing food when he sees it. He is chewing on a short rib
bone—can't get enough of it. He actually fell asleep with
the bone in his hand, writes proud father Daniel Chong. |

Marie Seay, pictured here at two months.

Ella Mae Hesse was born to Dustin
and Caroline Hesse on July 23, weighing in at over nine pounds.
She was able to lift her head from day one. She gained four pounds
a month for the first three months, exclusively breastfeeding.
Her pediatrician called her mom the "Dairy Queen" and
said this was unheard of in the 23 years she had been practicing.
She has been a very peaceful and happy baby right from the beginning
and has never cried during the night! Both parents followed the
WAPF dietary principles for several years before her conception.
Mom ate (and still eats) tons of farm eggs, raw milk and cod liver
oil. Thank you WAPF for this beautiful baby! |
 |
Marianne Schmidt followed WAPF dietary
principles for several years before giving birth to a beautiful
boy. Even his conception, which was actually unanticipated, took
place whilst Mom was vacationing in France where she stuffed herself
silly with butter and poultry livers galore! |
 |
Betsy Pierce followed the wise traditional
diet while pregnant and has been blessed with Abigail Joy Pierce,
a beautiful, strong, alert, and very healthy baby girl who is now
four months old. Mom is planning to breastfeed for about two years. |
 |
A smiling Jonathan Dodge, now seven
months old, poses with his big sister, Jenna, age three and one-half.
Their mom, Norway, Maine chapter leader Donna Dodge, has followed
a WAPF diet since 1999. Jonathan is 100 percent breastfed, but has
also been getting cod liver oil and egg yolks since five months
old. He loves trying new foods—the fermented sweet potato
is one of his favorites. Both kids are bright, energetic, and have
attractive broad faces (note the space between Jenna's teeth;
she has plenty of room for her adult teeth to come in!). Says mom:
"There are no words I can express to thank the Foundation
for my two beautiful children." |
 |
Kevin Patrick O'Brien was given
a healthy start in life thanks to his mom's diet of raw milk,
butter, cod liver oil, eggs, grass-fed meats, fermented vegetables
and soaked grains for nine months or pregnancy, Born full-term at
over nine pounds (over two pounds more than either of his siblings'
birth weights!), Kevin is a contented infant, very alert at only
two days old. He will be raised on raw milk and healthy foods with
his siblings. |
 |
Proud Grandma Joyce Sauer sends this
update on WAPF mom Jenny Stamm and her two children, Summer Amanda,
born October 2004 and Skyler David, born August 2006. They, along
with daddy Darren Stamm are healthy examples of nutrient-dense eating. |
 |
Jetta at two and one-half years
old with her brother Pilot at one month, the happy family of Priscilla
Smith and John Earle. While pregnant with Pilot mom took cod liver
oil and high vitamin butter oil daily along with raw milk and
yogurt, raw butter and cheese, lots of eggs from pastured chickens
and coconut oil. Fully breastfed Pilot is calm, happy and alert.
He gained almost a pound during his first week. He also could
lift his head at birth. Says Priscilla: "Thanks to the WAPF
we have a healthy and happy family."
