Continuing Education Credits for
Wise Traditions 2005

We are proud and pleased to announce that The Weston A. Price
Foundation has obtained continuing education approval from eight health
professions for our annual Wise Traditions 2005 Conference, November
11, 12, 13, 2005. Based on the requests of our members and health professionals,
health professionals can now attend our conference as part of their
professional development and education. For your reference:
Physicians: 16.25 Category 1 Credits toward the AMA
Physician's
Recognition Award. This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the Joint Sponsorship
of MedChi, The
Maryland State Medical Society, and The Weston A. Price Foundation.
MedChi is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education
for physicians. MedChi designates this activity for a maximum of 16.25
Category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each
physician should claim only the credit(s) he/she actually spent in the
education activity. (Credits recognized in all states)
Nurses: 17.7 or 18.1 or 20.1 contact hours, depending
on track
selected This continuing nursing education activity for 17.7/18.1/20.1
contact hours was approved by the Maryland Nurses Association an accredited
approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on
Accreditation.
(CEU's recognized in all states)
Certified Nutritionists:14-16 CEU's depending on track
selected
(Recognized in all states)
Registered Dietitians: 17.25 CPEU's (Recognized in
all states)
Chiropractors: Yes (Recognized in all states)
Doctor of Naturopathy: Up to 15.5 CEU's Naturopathic
Physicians can possibly receive up to 14.5 CEUs from Bastyr University
for attending this conference. The number of CEUs
will depend on track selection and attendance. Signing in at each
morning of the conference and for each track you attend is necessary
to receive CEUs. If you do not sign in as required you will not be granted
CEUs even if you did attend the lecture. For any questions on CEUs for
