This Weekend in New York City!

1. The Oiling of America: The Cholesterol Myth with Sally Fallon

According to Sally Fallon, now-predominant false ideas about
cholesterol have caused us to abandon traditional whole foods and have created an epidemic of chronic disease. This evening she will discuss topics that will include: the history of the diet-heart theory; how the vegetable oil industry worked behind the scenes to enlist government agencies to promote their products; how scientists cheat with statistics; the dangers of statin drugs; the roles of cholesterol in the body; and the tragic consequences of the anti-cholesterol agenda-learning disabilities, infertility and growth problems.

An Evening Lecture

Saturday, April 1, 7 pm

2. Health, Beauty & Strength through Nourishing Traditional Diets with Sally Fallon

A Full Day Workshop - Sunday, April 2, 10 am-5:30 pm

In today's workshop, one of the most important contemporary writers on nutrition and culinary experts, Sally Fallon, will draw from the pioneering work of Dr. Weston Price, who traveled the world to research the health benefits of traditional diets. She will explain the underlying factors in traditional diets that conferred beauty, strength and complete freedom from disease. In her view, animal fats, properly prepared whole grains, enzyme-enriched foods and nourishing bone broths kept our ancestors healthy. She will present a step-by-step plan to put nourishing
traditional foods back into our diets, covering topics such as: the vital role of high cholesterol foods; the dangers of modern soy foods; the conspiracy to promote vegetable oils and hydrogenated fats; foods that help babies grow up smart and strong; and old fashioned foods that give limitless energy and vibrant health.

Note: There will be a materials fee of $12 paid directly to the
teacher.
