Raw Milk Bills
We are pleased to report that a bill that would have outlawed sales
of
raw milk in stores and distribution points in Arizona was soundly
defeated. However, the bill that we opposed in Utah passed unanimously.
Hopefully the Utah regulations can be amended at a later date to make
it
easier for smaller dairies to sell raw milk in retail establishments.
We must also be on the alert to stop any attempts by other states to
pass the type of anti-cow share legislation contained in the Utah bill.
NAIS
We are concerned about a letter sent out by Farm for Life, an
organization that is lobbying against the National Animal Identification
System,
criticizing other activists who are working hard to stop NAIS.
Naturally there will be different opinions on how to go about stopping
this
program, but personal attacks are not appropriate. Attacking each other
only weakens the anti-NAIS movement. For a point-by-point rebuttal,

Testimonial Needed for Natural Treatment of ADHD
A nationally syndicated talk show is preparing to do a show on natural
treatment of ADHD. They are looking for a child 7-12 years old who has
been diagnosed with ADHD, has not been on medications and whose mother
would like to try a natural "food" approach. The doctor they
would be
working with is a naturopath in Santa Monica California, so they need
to
