The Marriott Westfields Hotel no longer has any room available for Friday or Saturday night. We have secured an additional hotel. The Residence Inn Dulles Airport is just 2 miles from the conference hotel. We have made provisions for complimentary shuttle service to and from The Westfields Marriott and The Residence Inn. Please phone 800-228-9290. You will be asked which hotel. Please indicate the Dulles Residence Inn and that you are part of the Weston A. Price Foundation's Wise Traditions Conference. The rate is $135., plus applicable taxes per night. The fee includes the complimentary shuttle. Note: The hotel offers shuttle service to and from Dulles International Airport for $15 per person each way. Call 1-800-635-5666 to arrange for a shuttle. Other InformationChildcareThe Wise Traditions Conference is pleased to be able to provide free child care again for this year’s meeting. The childcare area for children ages 0 - 3 is a room on the main level of the hotel (very close to the meeting spaces and exhibit areas). There will be at least 2 adults on duty at all times. We can provide care for infant through age 12 (and will make exceptions for older children on an individual basis). The childcare area for children ages 3 and up is located on the lower level of the hotel. The room has its own bathroom, access to the outside, and kitchen. There will be no snacks or meals provided so parents will need to be responsible for this. We will be offering a Weston A. Price friendly bag lunch for purchase at the event for a fee of $5. The activities for the children will be based on the age of those in the room (see Children's Activities schedule in progress, below). This year, a new program is being designed to stimulate and educate the children aged 3 and older. Childcare starts about 30 minutes prior to the morning events and ends within 30 minutes of the sessions for that day. Just added! We will be offering childcare during the Friday Dinner & Saturday Banquet for a fee of $5.00 per child, per evening. No food will be provided. Free play and a movie each night are scheduled. Parents are asked to complete a short questionnaire about their children when they are dropped off. At that time, the parent will provide the name(s) of those permitted to pick-up the child(ren). Parents are also required to sign in and out. Please note you may do so as many times per day as you wish. We also request that you provide a cell phone number or a list of the sessions you plan to attend that day in case of an emergency. A signed liability waiver is also required. If you are interested in using the services, simply provide us with the name(s) and age(s) of the child(ren) and what day(s) and hours you plan to use our services.
