This is a most versatile dish. It can serve as a substitute for grits. It can be seasoned as a savory dish or sweetened as a breakfast food.

- 2 cups almond flour (made with soaked and dried almonds, ground into flour)
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp unrefined sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring water to a slow boil and add almond flour and salt.
- Continue to simmer until mixture starts to thicken.
- Once at desired thickness, remove from heat, add butter and stir.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese while hot.

I apologize I may be dense or just missing it, but I do not see a plus sign at the bottom of the page. There is the area at the bottom center of the page that says “CONNECT WITH US” but there is not a plus sign under it. Just links to facebook, instagram, youtube, rss, flickr and twitter. To the left of it, it states “WANT A MORE DELICIOUS WAY TO EAT” and to the right is a search box. Hence my confusion. Please let me know what I am doing incorrectly. Thank you.

I just made my screen larger and now the plus sign is on the left side of the page. the plus sign is white with a red background.
Just made a 1/4 batch this morning to see how it would turn out. This is very pleasant, an excellent option for those of us who don’t do well with grains but love malt-o-meal type cooked cereals. Good texture, naturally sweet, so I could easily have it without additional honey or maple syrup. This will definitely be made again, especially during the cooler seasons.
I will say, next round I’m going to try adding some bloomed gelatin (maybe 1 tsp for a whole recipe) in some additional water just to see how it affects the texture and add some extra protein/collagen benefits but by all means, it is wonderful just as it is.
