The kids wanted some cookies and the only sort of yummy ingredient I could find was a jar of peanut butter. Actually, more like 1/3 of a jar. So peanut butter cookies. Boring. What else could I scrounge up? In the end I also managed to find sprouted oatmeal, shredded coconut, powdered ginger, cinnamon, molasses, and honey. With the kids temporarily interested in something other than finding new ways to annoy one another, we began our experiment. The final result was delicious!
