Elisa Vander Hout graduated from the University of Guelph with Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science. Having been raised in agriculture her entire life Elisa continued in farming with one difference and that was that it be organic. While working diligently to keep her farm working she went to work for one of the largest organic dairy co-operative in Ontario consulting farmers through their transition from conventional to organic. Staying true to her raw dairy ideals she co-founded Cow Share Canada with her husband and now they operate the first farmshare farming co-operative in North America.
