Easy and fast to throw together a mouthwatering Ranch dressing for all your dipping needs. This puts the store-bought version to shame, which btw is filled with inflammatory seed oils, MSG, natural flavors, preservatives and other junk. Total prep time is 5 minutes. Please see the video of this recipe.
Ingredients
- 16 oz or 2 cups pasture-raised sour cream
- 2 tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried minced onion
- ½ tsp dried mustard
- 1 tsp dried chives
- several generous pinches unrefined fine salt, to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir well. Season with salt to taste. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
- Note: This ranch dressing makes a delicious dip for vegetable crudités like carrots, broccoli or baby tomatoes. Can be packed in a small dip container for school lunch. If you prefer a runnier dip, thin with milk.
I use homemade yogurt instead of sour cream, but thanks for the seasoning mix.
