Vaccination is Not Immunization:Β The War on Children
By Tim OβShea

Vaccination continues to be a hot topic, andΒ more books come out on the subject every year.Β If your mind is already made up, then there isΒ nothing anyone can do about that, but for thoseΒ whose minds are still open, this book by TimΒ OβShea is a good place to start. It is not painfullyΒ long but is packed with information onΒ every angle of the topic. For me to completelyΒ summarize this two-hundred-page book wouldΒ probably take more than one hundred fiftyΒ pages, yet it is very concise, to the point andΒ information-dense. So I will cover what I considerΒ the highest of the highlights.
In any disagreement, one of the mostΒ important issues to address first is who yourΒ sources are and why you believe them. If youΒ only believe information you hear from someΒ hairdo on CNN/CBS/ABC/NBC/Foxβ¦then IΒ have to wonder why you are wasting preciousΒ time reading anything published by the WestonΒ A. Price Foundation. (You could be watchingΒ SpongeBob SquarePants instead.) In fact, ifΒ you believe any grandstanding celebrity onΒ this topic, go back to SpongeBob and leave thisΒ subject to the adults.
The pharmaceutical industry controls all ofΒ the mainstream media. Another popular sourceΒ of information, the Centers for Disease ControlΒ and Prevention (CDC), owns over fifty vaccineΒ patents. If you blindly believe anything the CDCΒ says, you might want to spend some time studyingΒ conflicts of interest and how they contaminateΒ information. Your average doctor knowsΒ what the pharmaceutical industry wants himΒ or her to knowβand very little more. OβSheaΒ mentions that the Physiciansβ Desk ReferenceΒ (PDR) used to be an extensive source of solidΒ information, but that information has disappearedΒ in the most recent versions of the PDR.
At least some vaccines are now using continuousΒ cell linesβcells that essentially neverΒ dieβin vaccine production. Some people believeΒ there could be a connection between thatΒ and cancer cells, which also donβt die as theyΒ should. When I was very young in the 1960s,Β children didnβt get cancer. Now I hear that cancerΒ is the number-one cause of death in children.
Because vaccines use genetically mutatedΒ forms of diseases, new diseases are being createdΒ that didnβt exist before. Vaccines containingΒ a manmade version of a bug may give you someΒ temporary immunity to something, but not toΒ the natural disease. When you get chickenpox,Β for example, you are immune to natural chickenpoxΒ for life and pose no danger to anybody.Β Ironically, vaccinated people carrying the newΒ diseases are the danger. They have permanentΒ immunity to nothing and may infect people whoΒ are immune to the natural disease but not theΒ manmade version. The vaccines have createdΒ new problems and solved nothing.
There are ongoing heated arguments aboutΒ whether vaccines work at all and whether theyΒ are really better than doing nothing. This debateΒ cannot be solved without studies comparing theΒ vaccinated to the unvaccinated. The vaccineΒ industry has stubbornly refused to do that andΒ justifies its refusal with spurious and irrationalΒ arguments about ethics. Unfortunately forΒ the industry, studies are starting to leak out.Β One thing to keep in mind when making theΒ comparison is that you have to look at totalΒ health, not just the disease associated with theΒ vaccine. If those who are vaccinated againstΒ hangnails have fewer hangnails than the unvaccinated,Β thatβs nice, but if the vaccinatedΒ also are three times more likely to burst intoΒ flames, thatβs not so nice. Somalis in SomaliaΒ have an autism rate of approximately zero. TheyΒ also have a vaccination rate of approximatelyΒ zero. Forty-three thousand Somalis have beenΒ relocated to the U.S. in the last decade, mostlyΒ to Minnesota. Those U.S.-based Somalis haveΒ been vaccinated, and now one in forty-five hasΒ autism, according to the CDC. According toΒ more reliable sources, the number is actually oneΒ in thirty-two. Is that βgeneticβ? If you say yes,Β pleaseβ¦please go back to SpongeBob.
A study by Mogensen, Aaby and others,Β published in 2017, compared vaccinated to unvaccinated children inΒ Guinea-Bissau and found that children vaccinated with diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTP) were dying about five times faster than unvaccinatedΒ children. The Mawson study of six hundred and sixty-six homeschooledΒ children in four U.S. states found that the vaccinated had a fourfoldΒ greater odds of being diagnosed with otitis media and pneumonia thanΒ the unvaccinated, and were thirty-fold more likely to be diagnosed withΒ hay fever. The vaccinated children also had a fourfold greater odds of aΒ neurodevelopmental disorder diagnosis.
Speaking of the DTP vaccine (retooled as DTaP for βacellular pertussisβ),Β OβShea reproduces a chart from the CDC website showing theΒ number of pertussis cases in the U.S. from 1981 to 2012. In 1981, theΒ number was 1,248. In 2012, it was 48,277. During that time, the mandatedΒ pediatric vaccine schedule increased the number of DTaP shots from twoΒ to six. The more shots, the more sickness.
People who have a vested interest in vaccines make some interestingΒ admissions. The original Salk polio vaccine created βone of the worstΒ pharmaceutical disasters in U.S. history,β according to Paul Offit, one ofΒ the loudest proponents in favor of vaccines in general. Albert Sabin, MD,Β who invented the next polio vaccine, said thirty years later, βOfficial dataΒ has shown that the large-scale vaccinations undertaken in the U.S. haveΒ failed to obtain any significant improvement of the diseases for whichΒ they are supposed to provide immunization. In essence, it was and is aΒ failure.β Once again, not only is the vaccine program a failure, but it hasΒ created more problems than it has solved. The only polio cases in the lastΒ few decades were caused by the vaccine itself. Even the CDC admits that.
The makers of Gardasil have done an impressive job of persuadingΒ many that twelve-year-old girls need that vaccine, even though they haveΒ little chance of getting cervical cancer until they are in their fifties. TheΒ manufacturer admits the vaccine is effective only for a year or two. SideΒ effects include loss of vision, loss of consciousness, seizures, paralysis andΒ death. They want to give it to boys, too. I really canβt make this stuff up.
Hugh Fudenberg, MD, a leading immunogeneticist, found that βIfΒ an individual had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980, theΒ chances of Alzheimerβs Disease were ten times greater than for thoseΒ gettingβ¦no shots.β The adult vaccine schedule now calls for yearly fluΒ shots until age sixty, by which time you should be safely dead.
Why do people get so upset at the mere suggestion that any vaccineΒ might be dangerous? Andrew Wakefield published a study in Lancet thatΒ suggested a possible correlation between a vaccine and autism. He didΒ not claim to prove anything. He just suggested more research would beΒ a good idea. The result was the assassination of his character and career.Β The U.K.βs General Medical Council brought a case against Wakefield andΒ John Walker-Smith, but an official legal ruling later stated that the caseΒ was based on βinadequate and superficial reasoning and, in a number ofΒ instances, a wrong conclusion.β Why didnβt we hear anything about thisΒ from the sock puppets in the news media? Is it because the pharmaceuticalΒ industry provides the vast majority of advertising funding for theΒ corporate media? Just look at who is controlling the sock puppets, andΒ you have your answer.
So we have vaccines that clearly donβt work, and yet the medicalΒ industry continues to push them. We also haveΒ word games, as the title explains, that confuseΒ βvaccinationβ with βimmunization.β When theΒ purveyors of such potions stoop this low, anyΒ thinking person has to question the integrityΒ of the entire system. The thumb is UP for thisΒ book.

Fantastic review. Tim, I love your book reviews. You are wise and witty!
Kindly,
Christine
This is a fantastic book. It is not overly long but it thoroughly describes the dangers inherent in vaccines and offers strategies to minimize them. I have bought several copies. I have the 4th edition is much better. Give one to anyone you know who has kids and it may well be the greatest gift they ever receive.
