Homemade salad dressing is easy to make, affordable and you control the ingredients. Have you read the labels of most store-bought dressing? Their ingredients can be downright scary. So let’s do this.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp raw honey
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp unrefined sea salt
- 1 tsp dried onion flakes
- 1 tsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a glass jar.
- Shake well to combine.
- Let sit for at least an hour before using. I prefer to let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.
- Shake before using.

Pinterest won’t let me pin this recipe. Is it possible to make a “print recipe” option on here so that I can print just the recipe and not the whole article?
Carolyn Graff says
on the bottom in the middle is a red area with a white plus sign. that will allow you to use Pinterest. also there is a print option on the bottom right.

How long would this last for in the fridge?
Renee Pokoj says
Great question Belinda.
Homemade salad dressing can be kept refrigerated for up to two weeks. If you have more dressing than you need you can freeze it in an ice cube tray. Then take out cubes when you need them. Isn’t that handy? 🙂

Sounds delish! And almost the same recipe I already use!

Hey Michelle,
Yes, it is delish!
Please share your twist on this recipe. I’m sure it is a great deviation and I would love to try it.
