Raw Milk Symposium in Vancouver Needs Help

As you are probably aware, planning for the Fourth Annual International Raw Milk Symposium being held April 5-6, 2013 in Vancouver, BC is well underway. This program is being presented by Cow Share Canada, with support of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

This year the theme is “Milk and Our Children’s Future”. Experts from Canada and abroad will meet in Vancouver for the 4th in a series of symposia, designed to present the case for broader consumer access to
farm fresh milk.

Canadians and their government are currently at odds on this issue. And, farmers are embroiled in legal cases to try to resolve the matter. We believe a clear eyed look at history, logic, politics, science, and even real life
experience is in order. Public officials, politicians, farmers and consumers will all benefit from the scientific and common sense solutions which will be offered during this landmark event.

Come hear scientists, health advocates, activists, farmers and constitutional lawyers explore the many aspects of the raw milk issue. You will leave this symposium convinced that fresh milk is not only your right, but essential for your children’s growth and development. Meet Sally Fallon, Mark McAfee, Dr. Ted Beals, Dr. Ton Baars, Alice Jongerden, Kimberly Hartke and Canadian Constitution Foundation attorney Karen Selick, who is currently in the forefront of the raw milk battle in Ontario, having recently successfully argued an appeal to have Michael Schmidt’s case be heard in the highest court in the province.
