- Using aΒ food processor, blend flour and salt. Next, add butter, then grated cheese. While the food processor is running, add 1 tsp of water at a time until dough forms. Stop immediately when dough forms and do not add any more water. Turn off processor.
- Place dough onto a floured surface and roll out using aΒ rolling pinΒ to about ΒΌβ thick. Flour the dough to prevent sticking and continue to rotate the dough on counter to prevent sticking.
- Use aΒ goldfish cutterΒ to make goldfish crackers or you can just cut into square crackers using aΒ pizza cutterΒ if you donβt have molds. Place goldfish crackers onto aΒ baking sheetΒ lined withΒ unbleached parchment paperΒ and bake at 350β for 15 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool on aΒ cooling rack. Crackers will harden as they cool. Transfer to a glass jar when cooled and store in the pantry.
- Tip βΒ These are a kid favorite, so you may want to double the batch, as they go quickly! Perfect for lunchbox.

Great recipe! This dough can also be used for homemade “Cheez-its” if you cut it into squares.
These are so delicious! I second using them to make “Cheez-its” as well. Great all around cheesy cracker!
