San Francisco, CA: December WAPF Potluck. Dr. Andrew Landerman, D.D.S. is a biological dentist in Sebastopol who has been very active in pushing dentistry to follow the footsteps of Weston A. Price.
In addition to his work to expose the dangers of toxic dental materials and procedures, Andy has come up with ways to deal with the systemic effects of the industrial diet. One of these is a dental appliance that he calls a splint. The splint works to realign the temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ), which is misaligned by the deformation of the dental arches that Weston Price documented in “Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.” This is just one of the important breakthroughs he has made.

Campbell, CA: Broth making class. Soup season is in full swing and a good soup requires a good bone broth. If you do only one thing in the kitchen for your health, making broth should be it. Broth has easily-assimilated minerals and
hydrophilic gelatin, which aids in the digestion of other cooked foods, particularly protein.
Join me for a basic broth-making workshop as learned from Jessica Prentice (of Full Moon Feast and Three Stone Hearth fame). Fish, chicken, and beef broth will be covered and we’ll make a soup from the fish broth, perhaps clam chowder.
