Thaw your ground beef and mix up this recipe all in the same pan and you have less dirty dishes! Use your hands to mix it up and save another dish ;-).
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 slices whole grain sourdough bread, torn
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp unrefined sea salt
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Thaw frozen ground beef in a bread pan either in the fridge for a day or two, or in cold water for about 2 hours.
- Using the same bread pan, dump out the thawing water (if used) and add all ingredients to the pan.
- Mix up the ingredients with your hand (to save another utensil to wash ;-).
- Spread ketchup on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
