Ohio Natural Care at Risk

Traditional Naturopaths and all herbal and natural health providers are under attack in Ohio!

There is a new bill (Senate Bill 385) that has been introduced in the Ohio Senate which would make it very difficult for Ohioans to continue receiving all the amazing wholistic wellness care and support they currently receive from natural health practitioners as well as make it very difficult if not illegal for Traditional Naturopaths, Herbal Wellness Providers, Health Coaches, Homeopathic Practitioners, and other practitioners while even putting Health Food Store Employees at risk.

The bill is being presented as a “good thing” as it would allow Licensed Naturopaths; however, in allowing this tiny slice of natural care which is controlled by the Medical Boards and other government bodies, it would make traditional care from Traditional Naturopaths, Herbal Wellness Providers, Health Coaches, Homeopathic Practitioners, and other practitioners illegal and even a felony.

We ask for three steps of action:

Sign the petition at https://c.org/yRTH4LF8f7. We need to have our voices heard! And stop the bill now while in committee.
Call your Ohio Senator as well as all the Senators on the Ohio Health Committee (the current location of the bill):
- A short respectful message can make a Difference! (Example Message: “I’m an Ohio resident, and I support access to services provided by Traditional Doctors of Naturopathy. Please do not pass SB 385 as written or any type of separate licensure.”
