Idaho lawmakers are considering legislation that would place a temporary moratorium on the administration of mRNA “Covid” shots for children and pregnant women.

Specifically, S1346 would prohibit the administration of human gene therapy products — including technologies that use transferred genetic material or alter human genetic sequences — for infectious disease purposes in individuals under 18 and in pregnant women.

The moratorium would remain in place for two years while lawmakers review available safety data.

The bill does not apply to gene therapies used to treat cancer or genetic disorders, nor does it prohibit participation in approved clinical trials or compassionate-use access for serious or life-threatening conditions.

S1346 is currently moving through the legislative process and can still be advanced or stopped. It may be scheduled for a hearing as early as 3-25-26.

Idaho residents such as Doug Cameron have publicly testified that they experienced severe, life-altering injuries — including paralysis — following Covid-19 injection. These real-world cases underscore the importance of allowing time for further safety evaluation, transparent risk communication, and meaningful support for individuals who believe they have been harmed.

mRNA “vaccines” represent a new, untested gene therapy technology lacking long-term, placebo-controlled safety and efficacy studies. Without this data, the children of Idaho are being subjected to an ongoing experiment with unknown consequences.

Children and unborn babies cannot provide informed consent and may face lifelong consequences from medical interventions. Policymakers have a duty to apply a higher safety threshold when decisions involve developing immune and reproductive systems.

Manufacturers initially claimed their Covid shots were 95 percent effective. The CDC now admits Covid shots do not prevent Covid. Covid shot manufacturers and providers are shielded from liability through the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act, or PREP Act. The only option for compensating people injured by COVID-19 vaccines is the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP). Only eight percent of all petitioners since 2010 have been awarded compensation through the CICP. No legal or medical expert fees are covered, no pain and suffering is awarded, lost wages are capped at $50,000 per year, and there is no judicial appeal. In other words, the victims will be severely under-compensated while the pharmaceutical companies get rich.
