Dave Stetzer Tests Solar Farm

We previously reviewed a talk by Dave Stetzer (westonaprice.org/dave-stetzer-talk-on-solar-electricity/), and a new half-hour video featuring Stetzer has come out. In this video, he is helping farmers by testing their land for electro-pollution. He often finds 20KHz noise, which is typically characteristic of nearby solar power.
Some of this video may be difficult for the non-technical viewer to follow, but the bottom line is that electrical equipment manufacturers routinely produce systems that violate rules that require them to filter out harmful high-frequency noise. The solutions range from filters to something as simple as a bigger neutral wire. The added expense is nothing compared to the expense of sick, unproductive farm animals or people.
On a sad note, it has come to our attention that Dave Stetzer passed away on November 15, 2025, at age seventy-five. He lived a life filled with good work, and the thumb is UP for the video and a life well-lived. I’m sure he is in a better place now.
