We understand the beauty and benefit of diversity. We switch up our exercise routines. We diversify our investment portfolio. But did you know that it’s a good idea to diversify our diets, as well? Today, Chris Masterjohn makes a strong case for why it’s critical to do so for optimal health. Chris is a health expert and educator, with a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut. He explains in detail his rules of thumb for healthy eating. He give us practical ideas on how to translate the research of Dr. Weston A. Price from head knowledge to the dinner plate. Along the way, he tells stories about traditional people groups’ dietary patterns; he warns us about the dangers of dietary extremes; and he gives us a window into the way he himself eats for optimal health.

David Weiner says
Masterjohn’s advice is sensible and practical.
With respect to the carnivore diet, though, I do have to wonder if there is something about our current situation (e.g. the prevalence of GI difficulties, roundup, autoimmune issues) which for many makes plant foods more problematic than they have been in the past.

No, no, no , NO!!!
I know that you must be scraping the bottom of the barrel for guests (As the more recent podcasts prove), but why have these types of misinformants on who basically distort the wisdom of Weston A Price? Just look at Masterjohn himself! Hardly a physical specimen to behold is he?
Please…if you are able, get Sally Fallon back on. That woman speaks so much truth. We need to steer back on course towards that golden thread as opposed to creating episodes for the sake of it with these latest idiots. They are not only diluting the hard work of the WAPF but are in fact, talking boloni!! Hilda, you even said as much when you questioned his logic for diversity in the diet!! It may surprise anyone reading to know, but humans can thrive on beef and spinach alone!! Seriously!
I’m not going to give most of my book away on here but suffice to say that I will be on your podcast within a year, to steer the ship back towards the light of truth. Throw Masterjohn overboard where he belongs.
