Savory Herb and Cream Cheese Fat Bombs
Ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter (softened)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill, and a pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Roll into bite-sized balls and roll the outsides in extra herbs or sesame seeds. Chill for 30 minutes.
Variations
Blend 8 oz softened cream cheese, 4 tbsp unsalted butter, ¾ cup shredded sharp cheddar, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives or dill. Roll into 1-inch balls, coat in Everything Bagel Seasoning, and chill for 1 hour.
Bacon Jalapeño: Omit the dill, and add 2 tbsp diced jalapeños, 1/2 cup bacon crumbles, and 1 tbsp melted bacon grease into the mixture.
Mediterranean: Use sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and fresh oregano.
Smoked Salmon: Fold 4 oz chopped smoked salmon into the base cream cheese mixture.
