Tell HHS Your Wireless Radiation Story!

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking public input on the potential adverse health and environmental effects of radiofrequency (RF) radiation, more commonly referred to as wireless radiation. The public comment period runs September 21, 2026 to October 21, 2026.

This is a critically important opportunity for members of the public, researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, equipment or product manufacturers, organizations, educators and advocacy groups to make their voices heard directly by Secretary Kennedy and the federal agency responsible for protecting the nation’s health.

For too long, questions about the health and environmental effects of RF radiation have largely been addressed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), an agency responsible for regulating communications technology and spectrum, rather than through HHS, the federal health agencies with expertise in medicine, biology and public health.

HHS wants to hear from you!

Share your concerns about RF radiation exposure, including from cell towers near schools, playgrounds, and near your home and workplaces.

If you, your child or family member have been negatively affected by RF radiation, we urge you to share your experience. Tell HHS what happened, how such exposure has affected your health or daily life, and why you believe federal health officials need to urgently address this issue.

You do not need to have personally experienced health effects from RF radiation to make your voice heard. Family members, health professionals, scientists, advocates and allies can all submit comments urging HHS to address the growing concerns surrounding the public’s ever-increasing exposures to RF radiation, thoroughly examine the evidence, and listen to people who report experiencing RF radiation-related health effects.

This is our opportunity to make our voices heard and to send HHS a clear message: people across the country are demanding that our nation’s health agencies act now to address RF radiation health and environmental concerns.

PERSONALIZE YOUR COMMENT HERE: Tell HHS how wireless radiation has affected you, your child, your family, or someone you care about. You may describe the source and duration of the exposure, health effects experienced, when they began, whether reducing exposure made a difference, and how these experiences have affected daily life. If you are an ally, describe why you support people affected by wireless radiation and why you believe HHS should address this issue.

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.
